'Apply Yourself' Short Film (2023)

I wrote, directed, filmed and edited my own short film Apply Yourself (2023) during the summer of 2023 in Helsinki.

Although it is a narrative piece, I enjoyed the challenge of storytelling through a mainly visual medium - with only a handful of lines of dialogue needed to convey the exposition and storyline. I gained a lot of experience during the filming and editing processes and am interested in further developing techniques for conveying meaning through film/visual language. The film was made over a 48 hour period as part of the Euphoria Borealis Kino Cabaret.
